Commercial Property Showcase is Coming Sept 22

(Jennifer Roosenberg)

The Ferndale Area Chamber of Commerce will host the Fourth Annual Ferndale Commercial Property Showcase on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. This event will feature a “Deals & Drinks” cocktail reception for area business leaders in the Commercial Real Estate industry. It is being held in the new Pedestrian Alley behind Dino’s Lounge at 22740 Woodward Ave, Ferndale to boast the continuous improvement and investment in Ferndale. Visitors will receive programs that feature 25 available Ferndale properties ranging from retail, office, mixed use and industrial for lease and purchase in order to develop awareness about the business growth opportunities in Ferndale. The program will also provide information about zoning and the steps required to open a business in Ferndale.

“Each of our showcases has resulted in a number of signed leases and some closed and pending sales. It may not happen right after the event, but they have been a result of either connections made during the event or from the distribution of the programs” remarked Ferndale Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, Jennifer Roosenberg. “This event has attracted business leaders who don’t typically think of Ferndale to take a closer look. Those who haven’t visited Ferndale in a while are always impressed with its transformation.”

The Ferndale Commercial Property Showcase is free and open to professionals in the commercial real estate industry and related fields, as well as, to companies in the real estate market. A full-color program, goodie bag and hors d’oeuvres compliments of Dino’s Lounge will be provided to all those who attend. In addition, the Ferndale DDA will provide a walking tour of the downtown area from 5:00-5:30 pm to illustrate the benefits and incentives available in downtown Ferndale and show off the many improvements that lead to its 2010 Great American Main Street Award from the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

And new this year, LunaTech Designs, which has been working with the DDA to create an online 3D Ferndale, will showcase the available properties in 3D on Google Earth. The demonstration will provide a look around the exterior of each building from above and all four sides.
