Green Cruise Bottle Collection to Help

Clean up Gulf Oil Spill

The Ferndale Public Library Teen Summer Reading group is going to be collecting bottles at the Sierra Club’s Green Cruise on August 14, 2010 from 10am-3pm. They will be stationed in "Green Alley," which is the Planavon Parking lot just off W. 9 Mile Road, which is where the Green Cruise parade will begin and end.

The money collected from the bottle deposits will be donated to The National Wildlife Federation’s Gulf Oil Spill Restoration Fund.
