Twenty-two bars in a six-block area of Downtown Ferndale will be filled with friends and neighbors on Friday, July 30, 2010 for the 14th Annual Ferndale Pub Crawl.  The event, headlined by Cantina Diablos and Rosie O’Gradys, starts at Boogie Fever at 7pm.  Admission is just $10, which gets you a commemorative pin featuring Ferndale’s Mayor/Bartender Craig Covey and a color-coded guide to the various locations.  Guides leave regularly from Boogie Fever to take groups on a walking tour of the 22 hot spots in Downtown Ferndale.

The Pub Crawl raises money for four local charities: The Ferndale Police Auxiliary, MAC (Midwest AIDS Coalition), The Ferndale Community Foundation, and FernCare. Last year the Crawl raised over $20,000.

Sponsors this year include Absolut Vodka, Labatts Blue Light Beer, Cantina Diablos, Rosie O’Grady’s, Boogie Fever, Post Bar, Danny’s Irish Pub, Sneaker’s Pub, Soho, and Malibu Rum.  The Ferndale 115 News is also a media sponsor.

Participants are encouraged to be responsible and safe by using one of the event sponsors - The Designate or the Nightmove - for transportation to and from the event.
