Kelly Bennet's 780.00s Blog, named after the music section of the Dewey Decimal system, is our favorite source for local music information. Bennett coordinates the music collection at The Ferndale Public Library, and is instrumental in bringing local talent to the Library. The new library, which is expected to open in mid-to-late August, will not just be a quiet place of study. A large meeting room is a great space to hear a show, while people can still read in peace in any of the quiet reading areas.
