The Last Eggstravaganza?

The Ferndale Recreation Department held its annual Eggstravaganza on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Martin Road Park.  Dozens of children came out with their parents and scoured the playground for eggs full of prizes.  Kids also got special presents from the Easter Bunny. 

The annual tradition may be in danger as the City considers ending the Recreation Department in order to balance the FYE [Fiscal Year Ending] Budget 2011.  For more information on the proposed budget cuts go to http://www.ferndale115.com/19p5budget.html.
